This policy explains how Apex Tech Solutions LLC handles personal data when you visit our website or contact us about placements. It is written to be read, not to bury you. If anything here is unclear, email us and we will explain it in plain terms.
01Who we are
This website is operated by Apex Tech Solutions LLC ("Apex", "we", "us", "our"). We sell verified guest-post placements to SEO teams and we run this site to describe that service and take enquiries. For the purposes of data protection law, we are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. We decide what we collect and why.
Our registered address is registered address and the company is formed under the laws of governing state. For anything to do with your personal data, the fastest route to us is email at hello@apextechs.co.
02What we collect
We collect the minimum we need to answer you and run the service. There is no account to create and no profile to build. In practice the data falls into three groups.
Information you give us
When you fill in the contact form or email us directly, you choose what to send. The form asks for, and you may provide:
- Name, so we know who we are talking to.
- Email address, so we can reply with vetted options.
- Company, if you choose to give it.
- Niche and rough monthly volume, so we can shortlist sites that fit.
- Your message, plus anything else you decide to include in it.
None of these fields is required by us beyond the few needed to reply. If you put extra personal information in your message, we hold it only because you sent it.
Information collected automatically
Like almost every website, our server records basic technical information when a page is requested. This typically includes your IP address, browser type, the page you viewed, and the time of the request. This is standard server log data used to keep the site running and secure. We describe the cookies the site sets, and your choices over them, in our Cookie Policy.
We do not currently run third-party advertising trackers or marketing pixels on this site. If that changes, we will update this policy and the Cookie Policy before any such tracking goes live, and we will not pretend a tracker exists that does not.
Information from our correspondence
If we exchange emails, those messages and any documents attached to them are stored in our mailbox as a record of the conversation. That is the same record any business keeps when it talks to a customer.
03How we use it
We use the data above for a short, specific list of purposes:
- To respond to your request. We read what you sent and reply with relevant placement options and pricing.
- To deliver the service. If you go ahead with an order, we use your contact details to coordinate the placement, send the report, and handle any replacement under our guarantee.
- To improve the site and service. Aggregate usage patterns tell us which pages are useful and where people get stuck. This work uses general, non-identifying trends, not individual profiles.
- To meet legal and accounting obligations. We keep the records that tax, accounting, and anti-fraud rules require us to keep.
We do not use your data to build advertising audiences, and we do not sell it. There is more on sharing in section 06.
04Legal bases
If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, the General Data Protection Regulation requires us to have a lawful basis for each use of your data. Ours are:
- Consent. When you submit the contact form or email us, you are choosing to share that information so we can reply. You can withdraw that consent at any time by asking us to delete your data.
- Contract. Where you place an order, we process the data needed to deliver it and to honour the guarantee attached to it.
- Legitimate interests. We have a legitimate interest in running a secure website, preventing fraud and abuse, keeping basic business records, and understanding in aggregate how the site is used. We balance that interest against your rights, and it never extends to selling your data or profiling you for advertising.
- Legal obligation. Some records, such as those tied to payment and tax, we keep because the law requires it.
05Cookies and tracking
This site aims to use only what it needs to function. We do not deploy advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Our full breakdown of every cookie the site sets, what each one does, how long it lasts, and how to control them in your browser, lives in our Cookie Policy.
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. Doing so will not stop you from reading the site, though a small number of convenience features may behave differently.
06How we share
We do not sell your personal data. We never have, and we have no business reason to.
We share data only with the service providers that help us run the business, and only to the extent each one needs to do its job. The categories of provider we may rely on include:
- Hosting and email providers that store the site and our mailbox.
- Payment processors, which handle their part of a transaction directly under their own privacy terms when you choose to pay.
- Professional advisers, such as accountants, where a legal or accounting duty requires it.
Each provider acts under contract and is permitted to use your data only to provide the service we have engaged them for. We may also disclose data if the law compels us to, or to protect our rights and the safety of others, but that is the limit of it.
07Data retention
We keep personal data only as long as it serves a purpose described above, then we remove it. The periods below are our working defaults. We may hold something longer where an active dispute, an open order, or the law requires it, and shorter if you ask us to erase it.
- Enquiries that go nowhere are kept for up to 12 months in case you come back, then deleted.
- Order and customer records are kept for the duration of the relationship, then for the statutory financial-records period afterwards, which is 6–7 years, per governing state for tax, accounting, and dispute purposes.
- Server logs are rotated and retained for roughly 30 to 90 days for security and maintenance, then overwritten.
When a retention period ends, we delete the data or anonymise it so it can no longer identify you. If you ask us to erase your data sooner, we will, except where we are legally required to hold a specific record for the period named above.
08Data security
We protect what we hold with measures appropriate to a small operation handling a small amount of data. The site is served over HTTPS, access to the mailbox and any stored records is restricted to the people who need it, and we keep the number of people and systems touching your data deliberately low. A smaller surface is a safer one.
No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we will not claim otherwise. If a breach ever affected your data and the law required us to tell you, we would notify you and the relevant authority without undue delay.
09Your rights
You have rights over your personal data, and we will honour them whatever jurisdiction you are in, to the extent the applicable law grants them.
If you are in the UK or EEA (GDPR)
- Access. Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification. Ask us to correct anything inaccurate or incomplete.
- Erasure. Ask us to delete your data where there is no overriding legal reason to keep it.
- Portability. Ask for the data you gave us in a portable, machine-readable form.
- Objection and restriction. Object to a particular use, or ask us to pause processing while a question is resolved.
- Withdraw consent. Where we rely on consent, withdraw it at any time. That does not affect anything done lawfully before you withdrew.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In the EEA that is the data protection authority in your country of residence or work; in the UK it is the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). Our lead supervisory authority for cross-border matters is lead supervisory authority, set once entity jurisdiction is fixed. We would rather you raised it with us first so we can put it right.
If you are in California (CCPA / CPRA)
- Know and access. Request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
- Delete. Request deletion of personal information we hold, subject to legal exceptions.
- Opt out of sale. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of. If that ever changed, we would provide a clear opt-out first.
- Non-discrimination. We will never charge you a different price or give you a lesser service for exercising any of these rights.
To exercise any right, see section 14. We respond within the timeframe the applicable law sets, and we may need to confirm your identity before we act, so that we are not handing your data to someone else.
10International data transfers
We are a US-formed company and some of the providers we use store data in the United States or elsewhere. If you contact us from outside that region, your data will be transferred to and processed in a country whose data protection laws may differ from your own. Where the law requires it, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, for those transfers. By sending us your information, you understand it may be processed in the locations described here.
11Children
This is a business-to-business service and it is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has sent us personal data, tell us and we will delete it.
12Third-party links
Our site and our replies may link to other websites, such as a payment provider or an external tool you can use to verify a placement yourself. This policy covers only our own site. Once you follow a link to a third party, their privacy practices govern, and we are not responsible for them. We encourage you to read the policy of any site you visit.
13Changes
We may update this policy as the business or the law changes. When we do, we revise the "last updated" date at the top. If a change is significant, we will make that clear rather than slip it past you. Continuing to use the site after an update means you have seen the current version.
14Contact
To ask a question, exercise a right, or raise a concern about your personal data, email us at hello@apextechs.co. Put "Privacy" in the subject line so it reaches the right place quickly. For a formal legal notice, write to legal notice contact at our registered address, registered address.
We read every message and we will not make you chase us for an answer.
